Tony Mueller has over 30 years of leadership experience in the aerospace industry – retiring after a long career at Boeing in 2023. During his three decade tenure at the company, Tony held a number of executive positions which leveraged skills in program management, business capture, technical development and factory operations. From 2015 to 2023, Tony led Spectrolab, a Boeing subsidiary company known for leadership in space solar power and high-intensity airborne lighting. In this role, Tony led a diverse set of functions and was responsible for overall business, site leadership and spent significant attention on developing relationships with customers, stakeholders and suppliers to build product roadmaps and expand capabilities.
Focused on enhancing business performance, building high-performing teams and driving advocacy in key presentation moments, Tony believes in the power of situational awareness, communication and attention-to-detail. Tony has briefed over 20 members of the US Congress as well as government and industry leaders in a diversity of locales and cultures, including Japan, France, Turkey, India, Sweden, Belgium and the United Kingdom, to name some highlights.
Tony holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, also from UCLA. A lifelong aerospace enthusiast, he achieved his private pilots license in 2006 and now has over 2,000 hours as pilot-in-command. Tony cites his membership on the Deans Corporate Advisory Board at UCLA as well as his continuing role as a board member at the Discovery Cube Los Angeles, a non-profit children’s museum as personal highlights in the world outside of aerospace. Tony resides with his family in Southern California.
